▍Introduction
ANATEL(Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes) is the official body of the National Communications Authority of Brazil, which is mainly responsible for the recognition of communication products. On November 30, 2000, ANATEL issued RESO LUTION No. 242, announcing the product categories to be mandatory and the implementation rules for certification. The announcement of RESOLUTION No. 303 on June 2, 2002 marked the official start of ANATEL compulsory certification.
