▍Brief introduction to certification of energy storage battery

♦ CB Certification—IEC 62619

● Introduction

▷ CB certification is an international certification created by IECEE. Its goal is “One test, multiple applications”. The aim is to achieve mutual recognition of product safety test results from laboratories and              certification bodies within the scheme worldwide, so as to facilitate international trade.

● The advantages of obtaining CB certificate and report are as follows:

▷ Used for certificate transfer (e.g. KC certificate).

▷ Meet the requirements of IEC 62619 for battery system certification in other countries or regions (e.g. CEC in Australia).

▷ Meet the requirements of end product (forklift) certification.

● Scope

▷ Lithium battery for mobile equipment: Forklift, golf cart, AGV, railway, ship;

▷ Lithium battery for fixed equipment: Uninterruptible power supply (UPS), energy storage equipment, emergency power supply.
